Adding a stakeholder to a deal

You can add external and internal stakeholders to a deal.

Note: Ensure that full access is provided to the following permissions:

• Deal Stakeholders - Deal Stakeholder Management

• Deal Stakeholders must be added to the Organizations Contacts (External) or Users (Internal)

To add a stakeholder to a deal, perform the following steps.

1. At the top-left of the page, click Portfolio.

2. On the Portfolio page, click View or Deal ID for the deal that you want to update.

3. On the left navigation menu, click Stakeholders.

4. On the Stakeholders page, click + Add Stakeholder.

Note: 

• To add a borrower as a stakeholder, in the External Stakeholders section, click + Add Borrower.

• To add a loan admin as a stakeholder, in the Internal Stakeholders section, click + Add Loan Admin.

• To add an external stakeholder, in the External Stakeholders section, click + Add External Stakeholder.

• To add an internal stakeholder, in the Internal Stakeholders section, click + Add Internal Stakeholder.

5. Click External or Internal.

6. In the New External Stakeholder dialog box, enter the following information.

i In the Stakeholder Type field, search for the stakeholder type such as Vendor, Appraiser, Broker, Inspector, and so on. This field is mandatory.

Note: According to the selected stakeholder type, stakeholders are displayed in the Stakeholder field.

ii In the Stakeholder field, search for a stakeholder that you want to add. This field is mandatory.

Note:  

• The External Stakeholder list is displayed from the Contacts directory. If the stakeholder is not created in the Contacts directory, you can create new. For more information, see Creating a new external stakeholder.

• The Internal Stakeholder list is displayed from the Users. If the internal stakeholder is not created you can create new. For more information, see Managing users.

• To remove stakeholder type and stakeholder, select the corresponding field and click .

• You can add multiple stakeholders to a deal.

iii Click + Add External Stakeholder.

A message is displayed indicating that the stakeholder is created successfully.
