Managing an appraisal on a property

An appraisal is the process of estimating the value of a property. The appraiser inspects a properties interior and exterior, researches comparable properties in the area, analyzes public record data, and determines the value of a property.

Lenders request appraisals when underwriting a deal and over the course of the deal lifecycle based on the performance of the property or other triggering events.
