Creating field configurations
Note: Ensure that full access is provided to the Field Configurations permission.
To create a field configuration, perform the following steps.

At the top-right of the page, click Settings  . |
|
2.
|
On the left navigation menu, in Customization, click Field Configurations. |
|
3.
|
On the Field Configurations page, to create a field configuration, click the required tab. |
|
4.
|
Click Edit  for the selected field configuration. |
|
5.
|
In the Field Options section, click + New Alias. |
|
6.
|
In the new row, enter the following details. |
| Built Default Name |
The default name of the alias. |
| Alias Name |
The alias name. This field is mandatory. Alphanumeric and special characters are supported. |
| Abbreviation |
The abbreviation for the alias. This field is mandatory. Alphanumeric and special characters are supported. |
A message is displayed indicating that the alias was saved successfully.
