Creating a user
You can create a user and assign roles and groups.
Note: Ensure that full access is provided to the User Management permissions.
To create a user, perform the following steps.
1. | At the top-right of the page, click Settings ![]() |
2. | On the left navigation menu, click User Management. |
3. | On the User Management page, click + New User. |
4. | In the New User dialog box, enter the following information. |
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | The first name of the user. |
Last Name | The last name of the user. |
Email Address | The email address of the user. |
Roles |
Role of the user as defined within your custom permission roles. |
Groups |
Required group for the user. |
Automatically activate |
Sends the invitation email to the user to join Built. |
5. | Click + New User. |
A message is displayed indicating that the user is created successfully.
Note: Users with pending activation and invite are displayed in the Pending tab. To activate the user, see Activating a user.
