Creating a user

You can create a user and assign roles and groups.

Note: Ensure that full access is provided to the User Management permissions.

To create a user, perform the following steps.

1. At the top-right of the page, click Settings .
2. On the left navigation menu, click User Management.

3. On the User Management page, click + New User.

4. In the New User dialog box, enter the following information.

Field Description
Name The first name of the user.
Last Name The last name of the user.
Email Address The email address of the user.

Roles

Role of the user as defined within your custom permission roles.

Groups

Required group for the user.

Automatically activate

Sends the invitation email to the user to join Built.

5. Click + New User.

A message is displayed indicating that the user is created successfully.

Note: Users with pending activation and invite are displayed in the Pending tab. To activate the user, see Activating a user.
